Declan O'Rourke...Mag Pai Zai...Third studio album see's the former guitar player in Paddy Caseys band continue with his very clever lyrics and songwriting..this record could be the one that will push the talented Irishman to the heights and recognition his music deserves..to those not already in the know!!

Low - C'Mon..not like the Low material as you may know them..this is much more accessible and obviously  an effort in gaining more fans..early Low followers may not like it and then again.....

Bill Callaghan - Apocalypse..Continuing on from 2010's "sometimes i wish i were an eagle" the Smog frontman offers us a more stripped back record this time round,effortless stuff that grows and grows.

James Vincent Mc Morrow - Early in the morning....Bon Iver & Ray Lamontagne fans should like this debut from Dublin artist..

Bellx1 - Blood Coup...I'll never have a salad at mc donalds"...classic from the Dublin band with this their fifth album..great stuff..

Hayes Carll - Kmag Yoyo...Third album from Houston country musician...great lyrics and chords..

Josh T Pearson - Last of the Country Gentlemen....first recording in over 10 years apparently,
this record is getting rave reviews from all over the place.It's a album in which the artist lays his soul bare....he has said he never wants to listen to it again...wonder what he will play when he's on tour then!

King Creosote & Jon Hopkins - Diamond Mine...who would have thought a collabration between these two could produce a record which is seamless from start to end,a folky electronica trip which will stand the test of time.

PJ Harvey - Let England Shake...takes no prisoners with lyrics on the tragedies of war and death,expect great things when she takes to the road this year..

Anna Calvi - Anna Calvi...She has been supporting N.Cave's Grinderman recently and is set for take off.Live she "sucks you in" with her very seductive style and guitar playing..

Villagers - Becoming a Jackal...This has been out for a while now,but it's an album well worth investigating from the former "Immediate" singer.For someone so young Conor O' Brien certainly can write a song..keeps getting better every time you go back for a listen..
